Auctioneer, Jeff Stansberry, has been involved in the auction marketing industry since 1987. While still a student at the University of Tennessee, Stansberry decided to fulfill his lifelong dream to become an auctioneer. In June of 1987 he enrolled in and graduated from Missouri Auction School in Kansas City, MO. Upon graduation from UT with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and a Major in Animal Science, Stansberry, was hired by Latta Simmental Ranch in Lincoln, Arkansas. He pursued his passion to make a living in the auction industry a short time later, first with an emphasis on real estate and then back to his roots in the purebred cattle industry.

Since that time, Stansberry has sold countless livestock sales and has conducted auctions on a National & International scale of diversified assets from Purebred and Commercial Cattle, Sheep, Goats; Commercial, Residential and Farm Real Estate, Wholesale and Classic Automobile Auctions; Motorcycle Auctions; Trustee Auctions. Stansberry has conducted auctions in approximately 25 states and Puerto Rico. He is on the auction staff at Keeneland, The Largest Auction Marketplace in the World for the Thoroughbred industry located in Lexington, KY. He also serves as an auctioneer and announcer for Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auctions, billed as the World’s Greatest Collector Car Events, as seen on the Velocity and Discovery Channels. He is also a contract auctioneer for the largest Real Estate Auction Company in the world known as based in Irvine, CA. He is also co-host, Exec Co-Producer and creative writer of the radio show called Auction Overdrive which covers many facets of the auction industry.

Stansberry and his wife, Scottie, are parents of three sons, Ty, Brody and Coltyn. They reside in the Nashville, TN area. He is former President of the Middle TN Angus Association, TN Chaplain for the Fellowship of Christian Auctioneers and; an active member, Sunday School teacher and Youth Choir Director at Mt.Hermon Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN.
